GOLDEN SANDY BEACHES

A lot of people ask what the beach is like at Walton on the Naze. My immediate answer is – golden, soft sand, long and simply stunning. I love sitting at one of our front row beach huts with a cup of tea and just watching all the comings and goings on the beach. I have to say, for such a popular destination the beach always seems to be relatively quiet. I never know if it is because most people have rented a beach hut for the day, or because the tide comes in and out during the day making it hard to sit on the beach for the day, so they go off into town and have something to eat, or visit the pier and aracade.

I find the high and low tide fascinating and I still can’t belive some visits I can see the beautiful golden sandy beach all day pretty much, and other days it disappears under the sea for a couple of hours and then slowly appears again as the tide goes out.

The moon is an incredible thing and is just doing its thing day in and day out while Walton on the Naze carries on as normal !!
